PRAYER #41 MY SON - BIPOLAR

Please pray for my son, Todd. He is 24 and has bipolar I with schizophrenic symptoms. He cycles rapidly from depression to extreme mania / agitation sometimes with violent behavior. He doesn’t trust anyone to help him and has turned to self medicating with pot to ”stop the voices” even though he now has insurance through his wife and a new doctor who is willing to help him.

He had to be hospitalized three weeks ago after attacking his dad. He was in 72 hours then had to agree to go 6 hours a day 5 days a week for 2 weeks then could be released. He doesn’t want to give up the pot and using his prescribed meds the way he wants. His doctor has given him an ultimatum or stop treating him. Todd had turned on his wife. He has only one friend – the one he can smoke pot with.

He has fractured his relationship with his brother; won’t go to church. He can’t work; he doesn’t want to live; we’ve lost our son and are grieving.

We need a miracle for his life. Satan CANNOT HAVE THIS MAN. HE IS GOD’S.

Please stand with us and pray for Todd. If you have a prayer chain ask those on it to pray. I have felt a struggle for him for a long time – since he had a head injury when he was 10 years old. He told me in church a short time after that “Mom, did you say that? I heard Him calling me” . He said later he felt God wanted great things for him and that there was a struggle for his very life. I though about that time and told my husband that truly either God was calling him or he’s schizophrenic. Little did I know what would happen. I cannot let Todd’s life be snuffed out.

PRAYER #40 - MY CHURCH

I have been working hard since Thanksgiving to get Knott Avenue Christian Church on the web live on Saturday nights and also archived in higher quality for watching at a later time.

God has answered my prayers and allowed this to be possible. I want to thank David Bemis, Pastor Mike Carman, and Pastor Shane Womack for your trust and support in this area.

The next thing I am working toward is an amazing new website where all of our classes, services, projects, missions, and events can be posted. KACC is my church home and I can't even begin to tell you how much this church is doing.

Please continue praying for the KACC media projects. We really have a lot to tell people when it comes to God's word. This is only the beginning.

PRAYER #39 - THYROID SURGERY

Please pray for Teri. She lives in Toronto and just had thyroid surgery to remove tumors. We need your prayers to ask God that these tumors be benign.

KACC LIVE BROADCAST EXAMPLE

THANK GOD FOR KACC MEDIA PROGRAM

I just want to thank God for blessing my local church "Knott Avenue Christian Church". He made it possible to broadcast our sermons live each Saturday night on the internet so everyone around the world can see. He also allowed me to record them and put them up for people to watch at their convenience at kacclive.blip.tv.

I had so many technical hurdles and financial struggles in making this come together. God just kept clearing the way and we are so excited about this new media outlet.

We began on Christmas Eve and since then our church sermons have been watched over 600 times. I haven't even began promoting it, yet.

Thank you Lord for always being there!!!!

Prayer #38 - LITTLE GIRL HAS VIRUS

I would like prayer for my future daughter-in-laws new niece. She has an unknown virus. They have a team of research Drs. trying to find the problem. Mean while the baby is in ICU very ill. She is only two weeks old and weighs six pounds.

Hello again,

I just got an update on my prayer request praise report.

The virus is gone, but she is still on the ventilator and not really trying to breath on her own.
Also the family really needs prayer as they are not believers and they have no peace. We as believers can do the one thing we know how to do and that is pray. So thank you all my sisters and brothers out there for joining me in praying for this little one.

UPDATE 1/13/09

The prayers are working. She is now off of the ventilator and is now breathing on her own. Please keep praying so that she makes a full recovery from this illness. Thank you again for your prayers.
