PRAYER #50 - MY CHILDREN

I am asking prayer for God to move upon the lawyers and the courts to set an immediate date to began the court hearings so that I may get full custody of my two small children. It has already been two months and with in that time I have not been permitted to see them. I pray also that God will tell them I do still love and care for them. I am believing that in the name of Jesus I already have them.

PRAYER #49 - IN A COMA FOR A YEAR

Hi To All ,

Hope all is well with you. I received word today about a seventeen year old Page High School student named Matt Hodge; he was hit by a train, and has been at Vanderbilt in a coma for a year now with a one percent mortality rate. We serve a big GOD and as we know HE can do anything. Matt has been moving one foot which has the Doctors hopeful and is the reason they have not pulled the plug. Please send this to all your prayer warriors and let’s believe for a miracle that will astound all involved. I pray for revelation knowledge for the doctors and nurses treating him that he gets the right amount of medicine and treatment and that a huge army of GOD’S very elect elite surround him to do battled over him. God please increase the faith of others around him so they will speak life and not death over him in the name of Jesus. I pray the word of GOD be read daily to him because I do believe he can hear and understand things around him. Thanks! Patty S.

That all who are sick may experience the healing touch of the Lord Jesus.

That all who are ill among my family and friends may be restored to health in mind, body, and spirit.

That all who suffer from mental disease may receive compassionate treatment.

That all the homebound and bedridden may have Christ as their consolation.

That all who suffer from diseases that devastate the body may be granted strength and hope.

That all with disabling handicaps may be blessed with forbearance.

That all doctors, nurses, and other caregivers may be well in body and spirit.

That our lawmakers will pass laws to ensure that proper, dignified medical care is available for all who are in need, especially the poor and the elderly.

That God might look with favor on my special intentions.

I ask all this in the Name of the Lord Jesus Who intercedes before You on Matt's behalf.

PRAYER #48 - MY GREAT-GRANDSON

My great-grandson Kaleb was borned on Aug. 17th, and he hasn't seen the light of day since. He is in Childrens Hospital in Phoenix Az. And the doctors aren't really sure what is wrong with him, his plateletts keep dropping, and he appears of have hardening of the muscles around his heart which is blocking vessels, He is fighting hard, and I am requesting prayers from around the world for him to come home.

I do want to let you know that after I sent out a plea for prayers that he opened his eyes lastnight for the first time since he was born, and he has kept them opened, his blood surgar has also improved, and he is cooing. Thank You all so very much. Please keep him in your prayers.

PRAYER #47 - GOD SAVE MY CAR

pray that my car wont be repo'ed. today is the deadline for $767.50 to the finance company. I have already contacted family and friends and nobody has been able to help me.

I need my car desperately for transportation and to go see my autistic son who is 138 miles away and in the temporary custody of the state of ohio. he is being neglected and abused and now has a medical condition from the meds they put him on. I talk to him daily but i also have to be able to see him.

He misses me and wants to come back home, i have to be able to visit him. I lost my job back in may, 2009 and have been getting the run around from several companies. Thank god, i suppose to start work this Monday so i need my car for that also.

Please pray for my faith, my peace, my endurance and that this need will be met. Pray also for my precious son for his well-being and protection and that he will be coming back home to be with his mom.

PRAYER #46 - MY WIFE IS FAR FROM ME

My wife Ann, left four times in the last year on extended trips to China. She is Chinese. We have been married for six years. We were separated too long and have watched as her heart has slowly grown cold, secretive and talks very little. Yes, she may even have another. In January I lost my job and still can not find work. Our money is dwindling. And, as our sixth anniversary comes up

I miss my best friend and true love. I pray God to send here home with a reconciled heart. Two days ago I found out she has Cervical Cancer. And, my heart goes out to my 11 year old Chinese daughter who misses her home.

So many hurts and feeling. Dear God, work a miracle, give here wisdom, health and forgiveness. She is my everything.

HOW TO PRAY

A simple patterns of prayer that has worked for many is the acronym ACTS which stands for Adoration, confession, thanksgiving and supplication.

Adoration - Spend some time praising God for who He is and what He has done

Confession - admit to God where you have blown it or fallen short

Thanksgiving - Thank God for your forgiveness and the other great things He is doing in your life.

Supplication - This is the part where you bring your prayer requests to God.

PRAYER #45 - SUNDAY SCHOOL

Help-I need to know whether to back out of teaching a Sunday School class or not.

Someone is creating all kinds of drama and backbiting for no reason and making teaching very difficult.

Do I defend myself - let her push me around - get out or call a meeting with the five people she's thus far involved. Her dramas are not anything that involves reality.

I'm a good teacher - 30 years of teaching and people are being blessed but she and the two council members she has run to are making everything such a trial...I cannot understand what she wants although I and the other sub (she's the third sub) have asked her repeatedly what she wants. She says all is well and then later calls, texts or emails others complaining that she is being slighted and treated unfairly.

I am so upset about all this - it's a new class and I don't know what to do. The people in the class love it but it's getting me crazy. I need to hear from God on this one...
